Six Sigma Institute Students Notice
To: All SSI Graduates, Collaboration Course graduates and all
present students
Please be advised that to encourage continuous development in Six
Sigma professionals, our Institute would like to put forward below
measures:-
1./ Appreciation
Programme
For each student whom enrolled with our Institute for the third
studying courses and all additional courses onwards, one 5% cash
coupon (equivalent to the net course fee paid x 5%) will be offered.
Students can use the 5% discount coupons to enroll for further
courses, conferences, workshops, and seminars launched by Six Sigma
Institute. The ceiling for using the discount coupons is up to 50%
of any one single course fee or 50% of any one single conference,
workshop or seminar fee. Cash coupons are transferable.
Effective Date: 1 February 2008
2./ Continuous
Professional Development (CPD) Programme
All Registered Quality Professional (Black Belt) or (Master Black
Belt) [ RQP (BB) / (MBB) ] are required to keep a record of their
own activities of Continuous Professional Development. We will
suggest that for each RQP member, they should have 60 hours of CPD
in every three years.
CPD hours accumulated in a given year is only valid for that
particular year and the following two years. Any CPD hours fall
short of the yearly average requirement of 20 CPD hours in a given
year shall make up those outstanding hours in the following year.
Random sample checking on your CPD record will be carried out by
members of our Registration Board. Students will be notified
3-weeks in advance if they are selected for sample CPD record
checking. A sample of the Record Sheet for CPD Activities is
shown in attachment Form 1 for reference.
All kinds of quality improvement talks, seminars and courses are
eligible to claim for the CPD attendance hours.
Voluntary to join the CPD programme from 1 Feb 2008 to 31 Jan 2009

Effective Date: 1 February 2009
Grace Period: 1 Year
3./ Life Membership
Registration
Students can register with our Institute with a life membership
registration in a fee 6 times of the normal annual fee provided that
they comply with our CPD requirements listed above.
Effective Date: Immediate
